Boy oh boy, I would consider myself a youngin' still. Everyone knows that young people go through some crazy hormone changes. With that, us boys get a ridiculous amount of hair everywhere. My face, arms, and don't get me started about my bottom... It gives me chills even thinking about it. *brrrr. I have used this trimmer for a year now and I can proudly say it does what its supposed to do. It trims unwanted hair. This hair trimmer does its job so well it leaves my face and bottom feeling softer than those Bounty Extra Soft paper towels. Truly beautiful results. I am starting to look like Chris Hemsworth. People have said their trimmers have broken very easily but I think its mostly that; A-either they do not take great care of it or B-they received a faulty one. Either way, taking great care of this trimmer yields great results and longevity. If you received a faulty one, return it! Long live the Phillips Hair Trimmer!

I’ve been through a few of these, the cheaper ones admittedly. They have all broke within a few weeks or a month. I’ve been using this one for awhile now and it’s still going strong. It seems as it’s realy built to last awhile. I like the fact you can use different attachments on it easily and he fact it has two guards for the trimmers. I have crazy eyebrows so I was happy with that! My only little complaint is it seems like you have to force the guard onto the unit as it doesn’t go on easily. But thats a minor inconvenience overall I’m extremely happy with it. It cuts very well better then other units I’ve tried and I like how much bigger it is, it makes it easier to hold.

I bought it for trimming ear hairs. (Yeah, getting old is weird.) Anyway, this is a good design that safely cuts hairs very low. You could probably use it in intimate areas as well. It's also good for the back of the neck, between haircuts -- and if you're gentle, it will not irritate the skin like a beard trimmer. (I use the standard attachment for that area, not the wider attachment with the sideways trimming blades.) For nose hair, I prefer the kind of trimmer that has a round tip, but this trimmer is gentle enough for that as well.
I like the fact that you can rinse this trimmer. It has pass-through channels on the back for water to carry out hairs and whatever. Be sure to rinse it after every use.

Actually a rating of 4.5 stars. Love this little trimmer. It is small enough to get into tight areas where us older guys have hairs growing that we did have before. It is very compact and fits nicely in a travel toiletries bag so I can take it with me everywhere I go. I do not have a beard (or hair on my head for that matter) so all the extra attachments are not necessary for me. However, I am certain they will be very useful for folks who do have. I read all the reviews and agree with the people who speak highly of this little trimmer. It performs exactly as described. I would buy again and will recommend to anyone looking for an ear or nose hair trimmer.

Finally, one that works.
The men in my family may not have much hair on our chests, but we make up for it with hair in our noses and ears. Not a pretty sight, but I know a lot about clippers.
This is the first clipper that actually works. I've primarily used the rotating cylinder kind, and they remove some hair at the front, but it grows back quickly.
The narrow nose on this one gets all the way in, and can get closer to the skin because the cutting blade is on the side. Similarly, it's more effective in the ears, and can eliminate short hairs. All this means that you don't have to clip your nose as frequently.
I gave these to my brothers, a brother-in-law, and an old boss. After the laughter, they all reported that this clipper works well.
I feel like a shill for the product, but I paid full price for five of these and they work well. My brother's new wife is especially grateful!
